Shuttle To Concert Events In Canandaigua

May 24, 2017 by Innkeeper

This is so cool. I just learned that CMAC (Constellation Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center) has a shuttle from some local restaurants to some concert events. They will pick you up at Macri’s, Simply Crepes, Greenfront or Nolans and shuttle you to the VIP entrance. While parking for the venue is simple, there are sometimes lines to get into the parking lots and a little bit of a walk to the venue. General parking is around $10 and VIP is about $20. For those that don’t already know, CMAC is a fantastic outdoor amphitheater. A small venue with great summer line ups annually. There are covered seats and lawn seats. In my opinion, there is not a bad seat in the house (well, honestly the lawn is not for me but it certainly is full).

The shuttle is not available for all concerts and I suggest you check their website for details. https://www.cmacevents.com/cmac-experience/

Currently the shuttle is available for:
June 17 – Elivs Costello
July 2 – Tom Petty
July 23 – Rod Stewart and Cyndi Lauper
August 18 – Santana

I have seen John Legend, Tim Mcgraw, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheerhan, Hunter Hayes, Lady Antelbellum, Peter Frampton and more.

Have a great time.

Constellation Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center

June 25, 2012 by Innkeeper

I’m so excited to see Sarah McLachlan and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra perform at the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC), a beautiful outdoor amphitheater in Canandaigua, New York.  The amphitheater was renovated a few years ago and a few thousand seats were added.  Now they attract more “big-name” performers such as Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Alicia Keys, and more.  They also still have their “Blasts From The Past” such as Journey, Moody Blues, B-52’s…

Earlier this month I saw Lady Antebellum and still am in awe.  It’s just the perfect size venue.  I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house… except for the lawn IF it’s raining.
