This was a true gem in the Finger Lakes Region. Sheryl was an impeccable host and we enjoyed sumptuous breakfasts every morning while socializing with other guests. It seemed that Sheryl had thought of every detail to make our stay enjoyable, including tea and snacks in the evenings after spending the day hiking, sightseeing or visiting the Corning Glass Museum or a local vineyard. It's not right in Canandaigua but a good hub for day trips to many destinations.
Stayed 2 nights and loved it. We stayed in the barn suite and it was perfect. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to the finger lakes! The owner was wonderful and had many suggestions for what to do in the area.
Wonderfully stay. Very spacious and clean, with a fantastic breakfast. The hot tub and gardens off the back patio were a great addition to our stay. We will be back.
This trip is something we've been planning for some time, never has come through until this year - SPECTACULAR! HIGHLY recommend staying at the 1795 Acorn Inn Bed and Breakfast! Sheryl and team created a 'home' for us during our stay - From the welcome to our room having ALL amenities, a walkout to a patio, next to a babbling brook, phenomenal breakfasts, etc. it's a MUST GO TO - thank you Sheryl - we'll be back! Xoxo
Food and drinks: Loved the Green Front, located downtown - local food and beer
Noteworthy details: We stayed in the HotchKiss Room - very cool historic property located in the rolling hills of Upstate NY
Our experience at 1795 Acorn Inn was nothing short of being spectacular. My wife Janet and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Bed and Breakfast location and would recommend this location to anyone! Plus, Sheryl, the owner is a pleasure to be around and makes an amazing breakfast!
This was my wife and I's second time staying here. It's wonderfully located to hit spots around Canandaigua or jump up to Rochester. We love the Barn Suite! Sheryl is great between her activity recommendations, delicious breakfasts and proactively trying to anticipate guests needs.
